Running for Senate in Massachusetts, Elizabeth Warren has become a cause célèbre on the left because of her unabashed support for class warfare and redistribution.
I’ve already explained why her stance is bunk, but sometimes humor is the most effective strategy.
I don’t know who created this image, which wound up in my inbox, but you deserve a pat on the back.
I’m not sure whether this is more clever than the Facebook-bin Laden joke I posted, but both definitely get high marks.

I wish Elizabeth Warren and Barack Obama would treat us with dignity and respet by not proposing to further force many of us to “contribute” more towards their ends.
While the pictoral joke here could be viewed as not nice towards Warren or other women (which I find no evidence of), it fully epitomizes what her point is concerning taxes and those who have succeeded more than others.
Truly, if we take this analogy further, according to the Warrens, Obamas, and all Progressives, none of us would be where we are today without the government. There is no area in life that is free from government subsidy. Thus, we must devote even more of our time and resources to it.
I think they truly do feel that way deep down. Progressives really believe that nothing here as it exists today would be here if not for government and the “benefits” it has supplied for us. That is why they believe in a bigger and stronger government.
What they all fail to examine is that the entire “government provided X benefit so that means you must pay for it more” argument is a non-sequitor. That means that it does not follow that we must provide more funds to the government because it has been the current “benefit” supplier for society. Progressives either do not want to examine other ways besides the use of force through government to provide for basic societal functioning as we know it or they are too scared to change. Progressives are quite aggressive in their quest for power to control society as they see fit so it is not an easy task to convince them that there are other voluntary ways that work to provide benefits to society.
Change is hard for power-hungry people to accept. Letting go of power and control can devastate people who truly believe they use it for good.
That is why I find little hope (at least for now) that folks such as Warren, Obama, and Progressives will even listen to logical arguments refuting their ideas to better society through government. The quest for power to control society as they see fit is analogous to religious devotion. It is as dear to them as sacred spirituality. It is their way of life and it is how they derive meaning. Because it is so important to them, they view anyone who differs with them with contempt or evil. So they put up even more of a fight in what they believe in and use all tactics as needed to get what they want.
These people (and all others like them in BOTH parties) need to stay out of public life if we want liberty and peace.
I am very much against the redistribution that Obama, Warren and some others are advocating. It’s quite a ways down the road on the way to socialism and is alarming, to put it mildly.
However, I didn’t find this contribution funny. Rather, I find it to be in really poor taste. A good way to think of it is whether you would want someone writing that about your own wife or daughter.
I cringe when I hear her speak and I believe she’s dangerous as a politician and activist. But she deserves to be treated with basic dignity and respect.
Warren scares me. She’s a proven liar and hypocrite, yet the brain-dead liberals here in Mass. will still vote for her because she has a (D) next to her name. The last three Democrat Speakers of the House in our state legislature are all convicted felons. Yet people here keep voting for crooks, thieves, and liars who push this socialist envy garbage while lining their own pockets.
Warren decries the high costs of college education while taking in a $350K salary herself for teaching one college class. She bleats about the middle class being “hammered” (her favorite word) yet participated in flipping houses during the real estate boom. She claims to be all for the consumer, yet was part of a legal team that worked against asbestos victims. She was paid 40 times as much as they received for settlements.
Her biggest lie, that she’s a Native American, is the worst of the bunch. She received preferential affirmative action treatment because of this claimed ancestry yet continues to deny it and refuses to even speak with real Native Americans about the issue. It’s no wonder she believes no one can succeed on their own, since she’s never managed it herself. She depended on government preference to get where she is, so succeeding on one’s own merits is simply a foreign concept.
I’m so glad that I’m in a position to vote against this fraud. There are enough cheats and liars in Congress already without adding more.

What is a good Libertarian response to Elizabeth Warren’s “There is nobody in this country that got rich on his own” argument?…
Easy. The taxes paid during the establishment and operation of any business fully pay for all of the things she mentions. And, of course, Tax Competition keeps local and state governments from being entirely rapacious, in that if there is a cheaper, ea…

Bookthief, is it your contention that women should get a free pass when they say stupid things? That’s rather sexist of you.
Typical T-bag pig. Can’t find authentic issues to discuss so rip on her being a woman.
Yeah, takes some massive stones to beat up a lady.
Dan – Is there any action we should take if we want to make sure we are NOT included in the group the government chooses per the final paragraph? It wouldn’t be the first govt program forcing something on me I didn’t want!
The claim of Progressive government :
• We tax you to provide police protection.
• You are alive because of us.
• So give us whatever we ask for. You are lucky to be able to contribute.
Do they own you because they help you? No, because you have the natural right to make a better deal than that, and not submit to force, if possible.
One human doesn’t own another one because he supplies an essential service. We aren’t each other’s slaves. Our obligations are satisfied when the transaction is complete. One or the other can’t come around the next day saying he wants more. You might as well base society on the gun; give me more or I will shoot you. And, that is a good deal, better than being dead.
Your Dog Owns Your House
Warren seems to be pretty darn ignorant. I do think that any future sex she has should be with people selected jointly by Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi.
It truly is disturbing that anyone would espouse these thoughts. Hopefully she is just running for office and that office is in Assuchusetts,
