I’ve written a couple of serious posts about the European fiscal crisis, including an explanation of how the problem could be solved and one about the importance of gun ownership in case the pessimists are right and civil society collapses.
But something funny would make this day better and this Hitler parody is the best summary of the situation on the other side of the Atlantic.
The only thing more amusing than this video, if you like unintentionally dark humor, is the flailing incompetence of Europe’s political elite.

The problem lies with the atheistic socialism.
Biblically speaking: 1) The Lord gives and taketh away…
2) To whom much is given, much is expected.
3) If you have two coats, give one to whom has none.
4) The Lord is our refuge and stronghold….
5) Worship only “The Lord”….
Catch God’s drift ????
Under socialistic atheism, the government (man) is god. Government decides who has too much and how much of that will be taken and given to whom, usually based on their political allegience.
Government has incrementally squashed christianity. Government is slowly but surely outlawing christianity, the ONLY religion our nation was founded on. This started many years ago in our public schools, under atheistic John Dewey & Friends, the “father of the modern education system”.
Dewey had no fear of the church as he [had] the kids for longer periods of “instruction”, than the church did.
In our Liberally dominated and unionized school systems, our children are indoctrinated with anti-american sentiment, atheism and sexual perversion from second grade onward. Perversion becomes “normalized” thusly.
Under Liberalism, the Pandora’s Box of socialistic dysfunction has been thrown wide under the guise of “tolerance”. Every perversion has been let out of the “closet”, while christians have been told to keep their beliefs to themselves and force INTO the closet of silence, lest we be accused of “hate”.
America has bcome Godless, Indebted, Impoverished and under attack from her enemies both from without and within.
America has TOLERATED herself into a societal sewer and most likely an historical grave.
Hi Dan, I just received an email from a friend with what appears to be a copy of an article published in the New York Daily News of Friday Nov., 4, 1949; it reads:
Ode to the Welfare State
Mr Truman’s St. Paul, Minn., pie-for-everybody speech last night reminded us that, at the tail-end of the recent session of Congress, Representative Clarence J. Brown (R-Ohio) jammed into the Congressional record the following poem, describing its author only as “a prominent Democrat of the State of Georgia”:
DEMOCRATIC DIALOGUE
Father, must I go to work?
No, my lucky son.
We’re living now on Easy Street
On dough from Washington.
We’ve left it up to Uncle Sam,
So don’t get exercised
Nobody has to give a damn
We’ve all been subsidized.
But if Sam treats us all so well
And feeds milk & honey,
Please Daddy, tell me what the hell
He’s going to use for money.
Don’t worry bub, there’s not a hitch
In this here noble plan,
He simply soaks the filthy rich
and helps the common man.
But father won’t there come a time
When they run out of cash
And we have left them not a dime
When things will go to smash?
My faith in you is shrinking, son
You nosy little brat,
You do too damn much thinking son,
to be a Democrat!
Even if the quote has been fabricated, the sentiment seems timeless, relevant & accurate.
Finally,
“The last act of a failed democracy is for the Govt. to loot the treasury.”
George Washington.
