Chuck Asay has done it again. Back in March, he produced a great cartoon showing the beneficial impact of concealed-carry laws.
Now he has another cartoon, showing the issue from the perspective of criminals.
If we want to discourage crime, simple economic analysis tells us to increase the cost of being a criminal. And research shows that’s exactly what happens when innocent people can defend themselves.
Though this funny video shows that our left-wing friends are incapable of understanding this topic.
P.S. If you want more gun control humor, check out this joke comparing California with other parts of America, this interview with a general is worth sharing (presumably an urban legend, but could be true), and here’s a t-shirt that I’m putting on my Christmas list.

@Mitch Medious
“Loose firearms”? When have you ever heard of a gun go running down the street and killing innocent people? Wanting the government to take care of you is wishing to become a slave. I’d much rather be free and take care of myself. There’s no way you can be free and have the government take care of you. They are mutually exclusive. You can’t have both.
@Mitch Medious
Gun control takes guns away from the law-abiding, but not from criminals. By definition, they don’t obey the law.
I’m amazed you can simply ignore such obvious repercussions in advocating that the government ignore the US Constitution, Mitch. Doesn’t it say, “The right to bear arms shall not be abridged”…
Then remember why the US Constitution has this clause – it’s to protect the citizens from the Government! Think Waco, and any number of citizens mistakenly murdered by the Government in the current war on drugs. There’s even a name for innocent people murdered by the Government – collateral damage! Does anyone have stats on the numbers?

Gun control laws should really be passed. There are just so many violent events that is happening these days because of loose firearms. I just hope that the government will be more strict when it comes to guns.”‘.””
Take care

Proper gun control is using two hands. That’s all I’m sayin’.
