[…] If you like humor about overpaid government employees (and you’re paying for it, so you may as well get some enjoyment), here’s a great top-10 list from Letterman and here’s a cartoon about the relationship of bureaucrats and taxpayers. Looking through my archives, I also found a joke about an Indian training for a government job, a slide show on how bureaucracies operate, a cartoon strip on bureaucratic incentives, a story on what would happen if Noah tried to build an Ark today, and these two posters. There’s also a good one-liner from Craig Ferguson, along with this political cartoons from Henry Payne. […]

Reblogged this on jamesbbkk.
[…] If there was a contest for the best political cartoon about what’s been happening in Wisconsin, I would pick either this “fake negotiation” cartoon by Ramirez or this “coach class” cartoon by Payne. […]

[…] The fight in Wisconsin was the starting point for the discussion, and if you’ve been following that debate, you’ll very much enjoy this cartoon. […]

Be careful for which you wish for! Because, you just might get it.
For all states who wants Republicans: “You wanted Republicans! You got Republicans”
Your country, ’tis of thee,
Sweet land of Stupidity,
Of thee I sing;
Land where your fore fathers lied,
Land of ignorant pride,
From every mountainside
Let “ISM’ shine!
When I think of Republicans, Pinocchio comes to mind!!!!!!!!!!!
And, I reiterate, I don’t trust any “PARTY”
Conclusion: Love the article about Obama’s birth place, where that A** Hole stated, “Leave it alone”
Alert, Alert, Alert: ET from the planet Zoopublicans is running for President 2012
Just return to the states. And, good morning America
Having lived in Europe, I have said many times that the US got past the point of no return in the 2008 election. The financial crisis (read the interventionist crisis), the lack of alternatives in that election, and the election of Obama himself and a Congress belonging to the same party, pushed the US past the tipping point. Now perpetual average European growth rates of 1.5% await you, dear Americans, which in a world that grows 4.5% on average have a definitive mathematical outcome of decline.
Wait for the Union Victory as one more definitive sign that you have crossed past the point of no return. You are now in the definitive grip of Michell’s law. Look for taxation on one side and union job comfort on the other side to further squelch incentives to produce, lower production, loss of standard of living and then… of course… more union calls for “fairness”..and so on. France, and its 50% income + 20% VAT tax rates is the next equilibrium point. After that, Greece, alas, without the existence of a larger stupid economy (Germany) capable of running to the rescue to save a 15 trillion US economy. Given this last point, the US decline under Mithell’s law may gather enough momentum to completely overshoot the French equilibrium point and go straight to Greece.
The irony is that one of the main events that turned Americans towards collectivism was 9/11. That will be the top world story of the early 21st century: A once uniquely individualist America, stricken by 20 lunatics, turns collectivist, and implodes economically 30 years later.
Great cartoon! Thank you.
