you white feminist bastards
I live in socialist Britain. In 2010 we voted out the socialist labour government after a 13y stint at the helm. At the time we had the highest peace time deficit ever, high unemployment and plummeting education standards. During the socialists time in office we saw the largest increase in inequality since records began. There were countless exposés to do with the state run healthcare system. Investigations have revealed horrific data about patients dying on the wards lying in their own waste. Elderly patients dying of dehydration with a glass of water on the side table but no one caring enough to hand it to them. We have a new government now. They haven’t done anything dramatic but they have cut the size of the state and raised education standards. There’s a long way to go but so far we’ve seen a huge increase in employment and the largest fall in unemployment since records began. Our problem now is managing immigration. Since the surge in prosperity foreigners are clambering to get into the country. It’s interesting how individuals who support big state socialism ignore the fact that, given the choice, people will make huge sacrifices to get into small government, free enterprise societies but no one is queueing up to get into big state societies. They know that the prospects are best for the poorest in society in a free enterprise environment that rewards hard work.
Libertarianism is the most ahistorical nonsense I have ever heard, and the moment a tidal wave hits New Jersey, suddenly the National party of libertarians in New Jersey drops to absolute 0, and by the way, I just want to let yall know that I proudly voted for Gary Johnson in 2012, and would never cast my ballot for a democrat, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to forget which party actively embarrasses us and made me wear Canadian flags on my luggage to Europe.
Plus, Democrats ruin everything? Why don’t you ask the people who are on medicare and medicaid (Invented by Democrats) if their lives have been ruined, but of course, medicare and medicaid are evil because they are socialism, despite the fact that its hard to find any Republican to be against it considering so many of them are above 65 years old, filthy socialists. America is a socialist country, if ANYONE believes in social security or medicaid, they are socialists, Period.
The idea that the Size of government is somehow criteria for the utility of government is a bunch of stupid BS. Big Gov vs Little Gov. is the kind of semantics Republicans make up to win arguments, you’re being persuaded by slick lawyers with their cheap language, the utility of government is determined by UTILITY.
Where one says Big vs Small, others say Effective vs Noneffective, if you want to correlate size with utility, that’s fine, but its such disingenuous garbage because it fails to distinguish good parts and bad parts of government and government spending, because Democrats have a apathetic passive view on both government expansion and retraction AND Taxation, at the DNC you constantly hear cheers for Democrats who lower taxes and occasionally for dems who raise taxes because taxation to democrats is not some romanticist symbolism in a romantic fiction book symbolizing oppression and evil, it is a cyclical tactic that governments must impose from time to time for the sake of society, not some trident of evil invented by Marx and Stalin.
Libertarians vs Statists? Its such absolutist garbage to label people like that, democrats don’t want a police state, don’t want drug wars, don’t want war wars, don’t want government imposing on gay marriage or abortion, I’m a left-leaning libertarian, that means I’m SELECTIVE of what Government should and should not control, I’m not all or nothing, its such childish radical BS to act as if everything the Government touches is poison.
This picture is so ungodly stupid, it hurts my head just thinking about it.
Fox News truly has perfected the test of controlling stupid anti-evolution sheep, ALL they talk about is “Detroit, Detroit, Detroit” and like a bunch of stupid sheep, they start singing the exact same mantra, it could have easily been “Chicago, Chicago, Chicago” and not ONE Conservative would give a rat’s ass about Detroit, because their entire world view comes from a tiny little box by a bunch of old white men
If you LOOK at the pictures, the moron who posted this picture just took a bird’s eye view of Detroit, then in the 2010 shot is some anecdotal shot of a broken down house with a bunch of trash around it, look at the other 3 shots, they are ALL massive views of the ENTIRE city. While the last shot is just some shot of a home, because if you actually USED a shot of Detroit, it would look like ANY other city.
How ANY person with an IQ above 40 could create this image without either making it purposely deceitful or just being so plain dumb that they can’t see the logical fallacies in their creation is beyond me
There are HUNDREDS upon HUNDREDS of cities in America, some controlled by Republicans and Democrats, and ALL Fox News EVER talks about is Detroit, how about Massachusetts? Its the MOST liberal state in the country, its also the most educated state in the nation
Alabama is the MOST Conservative state in the US, and they aren’t well known for their intelligence or wealth, in fact, Alabama legalized interracial marriage….IN THE YEAR 2000!
I can make the SAME stupid BS about the Iraq war? If you love Republicans, why don’t you move to Iraq, FFS, we just HAD 8 years of Republican rule under George Bush, falling unemployment, huge recession, and rising deficits. Democrats ruin everything? Why don’t you ask the 50,000 Americans who die every year because they cant get affordable healthcare that democrats are ruining their lives or go to Canada, England, Japan, etc. pretty much any country with universal healthcare and tell them that liberals have ruined their lives.
You idiots have no idea that from 1933-1980, America was CONTROLLED by Democrats for over 53 years, our heroes that led us through World War 2 and the Cold war were ALL democrats, excluding the obvious ones, Eisenhower was pro-union, anti-military, and had a marginal top tax rate of over 90%, but that decorated war hero is just a no good democrat in today’s standards, need I say anything about Nixon and his EPA creation?
Is it wrong for the Dems to hog every president from FDR to Carter? No, its totally fair, because the Republicans have moved so far right that they alienated people like Eisenhower and Nixon, Hell I gave you Ronald Reagan out of generosity, Bob Dole himself said Reagan and Dole himself would have a hard time running and winning today’s Republican extremists.
Detroit sucks for a variety of reasons that extend far beyond who is in that small little office, but of course Republicans always frame their political biases in a racist fashion.
“Democrats ruin everything” Yeah, claiming that a certain Group of people different from you might destroy everything, has NO racist connotation at all, 95% of Blacks vote Democrat, so basically 95% of Blacks ruin everything huh? Republicans are simply not racist, so long as you transpose the word “Black” to “Democrat/liberal” then all the insults are no longer racist because its not based off skin
In summation, let me school you deluded Tea Bagger extremists on a few facts: In terms of 1st world countries, America is the only one with a conservative party that heavily denies evolution, global warming, and denies common sense access to universal healthcare or common sense gun control. Other countries have conservatives, John Howard, Margaret Thatcher, Brian Mulroney, but they are far ahead of America’s batch of stupid Santorum conservatives, they believed in universal healthcare, they believe in common sense gun control like Reagan, they believed in evolution.
Reagan and Bush increased our deficit to record highs, then it took democrat Clinton to fix it and give us a 100 million dollar surplus, fixing Reagan and Bush’s screw ups, then Bush took that surplus and turned it into a 1.4 trillion dollar deficit at the end of 2009 (Technically Bush’s last financial year) Then Tax and spend communist Barack Obama took that 1.4 trillion dollar deficit and turned it into a 600 billion dollar deficit, cutting over 800 billion dollars and got back all the jobs lost in the Bush Recession, if Obama were a Republican, you Tea Baggers would be wetting yourselves. You’re just lucky democrats have no idea how to capitalize off wins.
Back to my original point, Republicans are religious evolution deniers who have ruined their fair share of things, if you want to compare Iraq to Detroit, then that would be great, speaking of Japan. THEIR Conservative party believes in global warming, they have STRICT gun control, THEY believe in evolution, and THEY have universal healthcare, so don’t compare the US to that liberal rat state Japan.
The comment refers specifically to the Detroit area. Any reference to the party of the Presidents from then to now is irrelevant.
this post is so ignorant and just plain stupid. there have been an equal number of republican and democrat presidents in between 1945 and 2010. Heres something for ya… if you hate how the government is stealing our rights, go to somalia where you can kill anyone you like, just beware… theres other skin colors there.
Detroit Is The Best Place To Live
