When leftists do something clever, like this video making fun of libertarians or this image portraying the greed of the industrialized world, I’m willing to give them credit.
So you’ll understand why this cartoon about Fox News is worth sharing.
What makes the cartoon effective are the little touches, such as the “free stuff” truck and the “Sharia Law Now” sign.
Speaking of Fox News, it makes a cameo appearance in this cartoon, though the main focus is to link the GOP with empty-suit blowhards.
If you have the self-awareness to laugh at yourself, here’s some anti-libertarian humor to close up this post.
We have two cartoons, one on libertarian ice fishing and the other showing libertarian lifeguards.
Then there’s the very funny poster showing the 24 types of libertarians.
Last but not least, here’s an image of how the world see libertarians.

Eitan, did you catch that part about Ayn Rand having been “born in Soviet Russia”? An image of the gravestone of Rand and her husband appears a moment afterwards, and Rand’s portion clearly shows “1905”. Perhaps the comedians are confused about what happened during and shortly after the Russian revolution of 1905.
Here’s another one. I like that libertarians can laugh at ourselves.
Very creative cartoons, but as I looked at the one showing the “Free Stuff from the Rich” truck, I am wondering if a creative cartoonist might edit it to show even more reality, that is, the mere pittance that the Rich will actually contribute towards the total deficit. So if a huge tanker from China is connected to the truck, funneling cash to us while we sign our children’s future away would make this cartoon even more intriguing!
That looks like Karl Rove walking up the stairs. Pretty funny, and the depiction just happens to be consistent with the malice of the American left. (Granted, the guy may have it coming.)
The “TAX MORE” sign also is only too true. In fact, just last Friday in Chicago four leftwing organizations held “A PEOPLE’S RALLY FOR A PEOPLE’S BUDGET” in the Loop. “The Bush Tax Cuts for the wealthy”, read one of their fliers about the “BUDGET SHOWDOWN”, “account for 1/4 of our Federal Deficit. Now Congress wants to balance the budget on the backs of everyday people by making cuts to programs like Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid.”
These rabblerousers have demands, too.
“OUR DEMANDS:
* End the Bush Tax Cuts for the Top 2% [sic].
* Protect the Social Safety Net: No cuts to Social Security, Medicare or Medicaid.
* Find progressive sources of revenue instead.”
The rally and march was promoted also as a “Rally for Economic Justice” to fight for a “Fair Deal that includes taxation, perserving Social Security, and an end to devastating budget cuts.” By the by, these leftists, too, have not yet gotten over their fear and loathing of W. How to tell? Bush’s picture is prominent in the upper left part of the flier; his smiling face is inside a circle with a diagonal across it.
