Are you seriously trying to tell us that by subsidizing non-productivity, the government is making the economy more productive?

Such a welfare system sounds like a way to drive up the cost of labor–that means higher wages, which means more money for your kids when they’re working their way through school to qualify for a professional job. If the country has the money to do it (and Britain certainly has that) and the natural resources to do it, it may be a good deal.

She’s not sufficiently productive herself? Who cares? Why should you have to be born with a silver spoon in your mouth to be an idle git sponging off the state? Or in her case, a full-time mum, which is work in its own right?

You should covert those amounts to dollars to really horrify your readers.

Maybe I’m missing something? The piece you linked to doesn’t claim to have proof that “the article is a fake”; the best it can do is to show that she had an acting job (but no more recently than 2003?) and repeat insinuations that “the Validity of these stories are seriously coming into question.”

Additionally, we can find similarly creepy stories of those at the top, those who lie and cheat to become rich — it is morally the same as what this woman is doing.
